E é mesmo sem sentido. Este tipo de fanatismo é incompreensível.

I'm with you on this one, how is all the carnage in Iraq going to help anyone's cause? All it is going to do is create more hatred. But I guess this is the case with all terrorism. But particularly with this case, I just can't get the point, I mean, the longer the attacks continue the longer the US and friends stay in Iraq. Like you say, where's the logic?
Fanatics. I guess this is the real discussion that we should be talking about.
Oh and another point for the Elise chat room.. in regards to the London attacks, I've been recently thinking; why aren't we seeing any pro-active and constructive efforts from the Islamic communities of the world to address terrorism? I never seem to see any concrete resolve or plans to combat the rise of fundamentalist terror from any level of Islamic society. I understand the resentment against the west and the issues involved, but the silence of local and global Islamic communities is becoming unsettling in itself. Where are the stern policies and plans? I WANT someone to convince me that something is being done, other than the usual "we don't condone the actions of the fanatics".
